Made Our Dream Kitchen into a Reality
“I wanted to say thank you to both you and Joanna for leaving us with a kitchen that is a dream come true. First you took my wish list and came up with a conceptual design of 3 possibilities, which allowed me to pick the design I preferred.
A full kitchen renovation is a little like major surgery, and you continually answered our questions, brought forward selections, and coordinated all of the different tradesmen to come and go in a timely and efficient manner. You were able to take in the personalities of the 2 of us and deal with us in a positive manner. With your excellent sense of humour shining through, you kept our fears and worries of renovating at bay.
The project moved along according to your original timeline set out at the very beginning, which to me was amazing when watching the eclectic groups needed to complete a renovation of this size. And when there were a couple of very small concerns, you immediately contacted the people involved, they were out very quickly, and each situation was rectified.
We are loving our kitchen and have been planning it in our heads for about 5 years. We are so happy we took the steps to contact Jostar, which I would define as a first class company who employ first class professionals.

“This is the third time we have requested assistance from JOSTAR INTERIORS LTD., to help us update our home. This is one of the best decisions we have ever made. In the past, Joanna has assisted us to redo our living room, dining room and bedrooms. This included new carpet, wallpaper, reupholstering living room / dining room furniture, valance and drapery, bedspread. The second time we used her services, Joanna did a complete kitchen renovation, which included flooring, cabinetry and cabinet hardware, light fixtures, Corion countertops, supply and installation of a bay window, design and installation of a cut glass cupboard front and drapery. We are presently working with her regarding reupholstering of an antique love seat and matching chair to complete our master bedroom.
In each instance, Joanna has provided very professional assistance. She is very well organized, listens carefully and has always provided top quality work. A Fresh New Space for the Next Chapter in Our Lives
“Newly retired empty nesters, we sought the expertise of Jostar interiors to refresh the main floor of our 40 year old home. Pat, our design consultant, took time to get to know us as a couple and really listened to what we envisioned the flow of life to be like during this next chapter of our lives. Pat made wonderful suggestions in the fine tuning of our vision and supervised her team of professional and detailed trades who accomplished the work according to the schedule Pat provided to us in advance. Although there were many design decisions to be made (tile, countertops, draperies, feature wall design, paint colors, hardware options, furniture, lighting…), Pat had a great mindset for the timeline of our project soliciting pertinent decisions as we went along – we never felt overwhelmed.
It was wonderful working with Pat and her tradespeople. We are loving the freshness of our home and, although we have lived here for 34 years, we feel like it’s a new space. Next project….the master bathroom.”
