Basements, living rooms and even the backyard (with a projector and a screen) are great places for people to gather. If you are hosting a crowd ensure you have lots of comfortable seating and extra seats for everyone. You may even want to consider having multiple viewing areas so everyone can be close to the action. If many of your guests have kids consider a kids area just for them with games and a snack station.
What to Eat
If you want to go all in on your Oilers theme consider hockey/ Oilers food, Oilers colored cups and napkins, or even snacks in team colors. No need to host a sit down meal, have a variety of finger foods and small bites for your guests. Feeling really creative?
